Gmail¶
This page shows how to add your BrilliantCloud email address to the Gmail app, alongside any accounts you already use there.
Before you begin¶
Have your full email address and mailbox password ready.
If you do not have the password, set a new one in Email on the Manage page of your subscription.
Changes to Gmail
Starting in January 2026, Gmail (Google) will discontinue support for Gmailify and the "Check mail from other accounts (POP3)" feature. As a result, it will no longer be possible to add an external email account to Gmail for automatically retrieving or synchronizing your email.
You can still access your email in one of the following ways:
- Add your account to the Gmail app on your smartphone or tablet using IMAP.
- Add your account to another email client, such as Mozilla Thunderbird or Microsoft Outlook.
- Use our webmail at https://webmail.brilliantcloud.io.
