Registering a New Subscription

This article explains how to order a new BrilliantCloud subscription.

Before you start

You'll need a domain name. You can:

  • Register a new domain.
  • Use a domain you already own.
  • Transfer a domain from another provider.

A domain can only be connected to one subscription.

Step 1: Choose a plan

  1. Visit the pricing page on brilliantcloud.io. If you already have an account, open the Dashboard and select New Subscription.
  2. Compare the available plans.
  3. Select Order Now on the plan you want.

Plans differ in storage, the number of mailboxes, and available features. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time.

Step 2: Choose a domain

Select how you want to use your domain:

  • Register a new domain during checkout.
  • Use an existing domain and connect it later.
  • Transfer a domain from another provider. Transfers may take a few days to complete.

If you use or transfer an existing domain, your subscription is activated immediately. You can connect the domain later from your website settings.

Step 3: Complete your order

  1. Review your order.
  2. Choose a payment method.
  3. Create an account or sign in.
  4. Place your order.

You'll receive a confirmation email once your order has been processed. Most subscriptions are activated within a few minutes, although some orders may require a short verification.

Step 4: Set up your website and email

  1. Open the Dashboard.
  2. Go to Subscriptions.
  3. Select Website to start building your site.
  4. Select Email to create your first mailbox.

You can complete these steps in any order.
